12 Months!

Ever month when I would write my monthly post on Taylor, I always had in the back of my mind that one day I would be typing her 12 month post, but as I sit here and type I can not believe how fast this past year has gone by. A year ago we were so ready for Taylor to be born, however she had different plans. Her due date came and went and we were thrown for a loop when we went in for a doctors appointment and the next thing we knew, we were checking into the hospital soon to meet our sweet girl. When she was born and we first saw her, we instantly fell in love. She looked so much like Kenny, and she has had his heart ever since he laid eyes on her. Even though Taylor has been with us for a year it is still sometimes hard for me to believe that she is ours. It has been amazing to watch her change, grow and learn new things over the past year. She loves to be outside and would rather be there than anywhere else, she has started saying a few words (one that even sounds alot like a certain cuss word), loves to play with her dolls, read books, be tickled and chased around the house, and loves facing forward in her big girl car seat! Taylor has started to really put thing together, the other day she picked up her brush and brushed her hair then came over to me and brushed my hair. She weighed 18 lbs 8.2 oz. and was 29" long at her 1 year appointment. This past year has been truly wonderful for Kenny and me all thanks to a special little girl. Taylor has brought everyone so much love and joy and we know this will only continue as she grows. Happy first birthday sweet BIG girl! We love you so much!
